That is why we develop and install modules and parts that are widely available and thoroughly documented. If there's a choice between a manufacturer dependent or an open standard part, we will choose the latter, all things being equal. Our OpenTX/er9x compatible scalable RC logic boards are an example of this effort, just as our reliance on only those generic electronic parts that are carried by at least two or three major distributors. This makes any future upgrades, servicing and further development possible, while it also supports a smooth manufacturing process with flexible parts sourcing.
