This is one of the simplest MOLLE/PALS chest rig mounts for our wearable systems. It works both as a simple chest harness, but it can also be attached to the shoulder straps of any backpack from the front. You can regard it as a very wide sternum strap, which is fastened to four points on the shoulder strap intead of just two on top. It's easy to take it off even together with the backpack by unbuckling it in two places.
You can also see how nicely it protects the screen when not in use. There are dozens of other MOLLE chest plates available from many manufacturers, but this is one of the lightest and most versatile of them.
