Just as modularity, the open source approach also keeps long term servicing and upgrades possible. There are already a number of open source hardware, software and firmware routes to take at varius parts of UAV systems. We try to adapt as many of them as practically feasable, and if something is missing, we cook up our own, but we always give you the tools to make it even better.
